French Prime Minister to announce cuts in new austerity budget
As he faces two potential no-confidence votes, French PM Sébastien Lecornu is to outline his budget plans in his address to Parliament. He is expected to present an austerity budget which would cut 30 billion euros in spending, while prolonging a temporary surtax on high-earners and companies earning more than one billion annually, although cut by half.
