The US is treating the EU like a "junior partner" in attempting to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine, FRANCE 24’s Armen Georgian said in an analysis. Citing President Trump's phone call with Vladimir Putin and potential talks with Ukraine's Zelensky, Georgian said "the EU comes as sort of a third element in all of this further down the line".
