Felling of Sycamore Gap Tree Was ‘Deliberate and Mindless,’ Prosecutor Says

A prosecutor in northeastern England has begun outlining the case against two men accused of cutting down the 200-year-old Hadrian’s Wall tree with a chain saw. Both have pleaded not guilty.
