Japanese company abandons Moon landing mission after losing contact with spacecraft

Japan on Friday aborted its mission to achieve its first soft landing on the Moon after losing contact with its spacecraft, dashing Tokyo-based firm ispace's chances of becoming the third private company to accomplish the feat.
