What to know about a series of powerful volcanic eruptions

The Kilauea volcano on Hawaii's Big Island erupted Wednesday for the 11th time in two months. The USGS said it lasted nearly 13 hours. Scientists are concerned about another possible eruption elsewhere in the country.
