Merz defends top court nominee from 'unacceptable' attacks

Germany's Friedrich Merz has weighed in on a dispute causing a rift within his ruling coalition. The conservative chancellor said much right-wing criticism of top court candidate Frauke Brosius-Gersdorf had been unfair.
