Researchers race to predict wildfire behaviour as France battles biggest blaze in decades

The fire currently raging in France’s southern Aude region has already swept through an area larger than Paris. As large-scale wildfires become a bigger threat due to climate change, researchers in France are now working to model their behaviour in order to more effectively combat them.
