At least 34 soldiers kidnapped in Colombia after operation against FARC dissidents

At least 34 soldiers were kidnapped by armed civilians in a jungle area of southeastern Colombia as they were evacuating after a military operation against members of a dissident faction of the former FARC rebel group, Colombia’s Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez said Tuesday.
