Thousands mark Serbian Statehood Day with mass protest against corruption

Thousands of Serbians blocked Kragujevac’s main boulevard on Saturday in the latest student-led protest since the deadly collapse of a train station roof in the city of Novi Sad late last year. Marking Serbia’s Statehood holiday, demonstrators called for government accountability and reforms.
