But here’s the thing: these feelings are not set in stone. They’re behaviors, patterns of thought that we’ve cultivated over time. And just as we’ve learned them, we can unlearn them too.

The key to freeing yourself from these self-limiting behaviors is awareness and choice. Awareness of the behaviors that feed your self-doubt and insecurity, and the choice to let them go.

This doesn’t mean ignoring your weaknesses or inflating your ego.

It means acknowledging your flaws, accepting them, and moving forward anyway, because you know your worth isn’t tied to perfection.

Believe me, you’re capable of much more than you might think.

1) Seeking validation from others

It felt like she was leagues ahead while I was still trying to find my footing. This comparison only fueled my self-doubt and insecurity.

Then one day, it hit me: her journey is not my journey. And my value is not determined by how I stack up against others.

Once I started focusing on my own path instead of comparing it to others, I noticed a significant shift. My confidence grew. My self-doubt began to fade.

And most importantly, I started to feel happier and more content with who I am.

One day, I stumbled upon a quote by Thomas Edison: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” This quote struck a chord with me.

It made me realize that failure is not the end of the world; it’s just another step towards success.

From then on, I began to see failure differently. Instead of fearing it, I started embracing it as a vital part of growth and learning.

It wasn’t easy, but it was a necessary shift in perspective that helped me let go of self-doubt and insecurity.
