Liverpool parade: Police say driver arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and drug offences

More than 50 people were hurt in the Liverpool parade car collision, police say.

The suspect, 53, remains in police custody and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police also revealed he was detained on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
