British air taxi completes first European flight in open airspace

Vertical Aerospace, a UK-based electric aviation company, has completed the first piloted wing-borne flight of a winged electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft in European open airspace. The milestone flight marks a step toward commercializing electric air travel, says CEO Stuart Simpson.
