Only way to stop Russia is ‘harsh’ US sanctions: Ukrainian MP

It's been more than three years since Russia launched its ground invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.
Now, officials from both countries are meeting in Istanbul for what is only the second round of direct talks, with the aim of ending the conflict which has caused immense destruction.
The Turkish Foreign Minister says he believes the negotiations will bring concrete results.

Oleksiy Goncharenko is a Ukrainian Member of Parliament, and he says he believes Ukraine’s latest attack on Russia will possibly “make clear to Russia they will not achieve their goals” in the war.
