Israeli shelling targets southern Syria

After Israel said two rockets were fired from Syria at the occupied Golan Heights, the Israeli military shelled the Syrian area of Sahem el-Golan, west of Deraa, Syria’s state-run Alikhbaria TV reports.

Al Jazeera's Hamdah Salhut joins live from the Jordanian capital Amman. She's there because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel and the occupied West Bank.
