Bricks and missiles thrown at police on second night of disorder in Northern Ireland
Police used water cannon to disperse protesters engaged in serious disorder for a second night in Northern Ireland, as fireworks and bricks were thrown at officers.
Riot police were deployed around the Clonavon Terrace area on Tuesday night as hundreds of people gathered in Ballymena.
It comes after violent disorder on Monday, following an earlier peaceful protest in support of the family of a girl who was the victim of an alleged sexual assault in the area.
