Israel accused of firing at crowds near Gaza aid centre as UK sanctions two Israeli ministers

Health officials in Gaza have accused Israeli soldiers of killing dozens near distribution centres handing out aid.

Israel insists its forces fired warning shots to protect Israeli troops.

Sir Keir Starmer has described the situation in Gaza as "shocking and intolerable", as his government imposed sanctions on two right-wing Israeli ministers, whom the UK accuses of inciting extremist violence.
