Jeremy Hunt on the Spending Review: 'You are everyone's worst enemy inside government'

Former Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has told Sky News he has some sympathy for Rachel Reeves having to deliver the Spending Review.

This is because the Chancellor has to balance the government's budgets and "you are everyone's worst enemy inside government."

Hunt went on to say he believes "in her heart, Rachel Reeves actually wants to do the right thing" - but that raising taxes in the autumn budget would be "absolutely catastrophic".
