Democratic Sen. Padilla forcibly removed from Noem briefing

The office of California Democratic Senator Alex Padilla said he was forced to the ground and handcuffed after being removed from a Department of Homeland Security press conference with Secretary Kristi Noem about the ongoing protests in California.

Padilla is currently not detained, according a statement from his office.
