Tragedy in India as a plane crashes seconds after take off | The World with Yalda Hakim

Watch The World with Yalda Hakim as more than 240 people, including 53 British nationals, were on board an Air India flight bound for London Gatwick, which crashed shortly after take off. Only one passenger survived.

More people were killed on the ground, as the plane hit a densely populated residential area.

India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has described the crash in his home state of Gujarat as “Heartbreaking beyond words".
