Boeing safety record under scrutiny after fatal Air India Dreamliner crash

This is the first time a Boeing 787 has crashed since the Dreamliner went into service in 2011.

Now manufacturer Boeing is under increased scrutiny, amid a turbulent few years.

Just last month it agreed to pay £812m in a deal with the US government to avoid prosecution over two crashes involving its 737 Max jets, which together killed 346 people.
