Israeli death toll rises as Netanyahu promises Tehran residents "will pay the price" | DW News

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the death toll from Iranian missile strikes has now risen to 24 since Thursday. Eight people were killed in the latest wave of overnight strikes and dozens more injured after multiple missiles made it past Israel's air defenses. Loud explosions were heard in multiple cities, including Tel Aviv. In Iran, at least 224 people have been killed with over 1,200 injured since Israel began airstrikes on Friday, according to Iran's health ministry.
