Zelenskyy offers olive branch to Trump after US pauses military aid to Ukraine

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Friday's Oval Office meeting with Donald Trump was "regrettable", adding that now "is time to make things right".

Taking to social media, Zelenskyy says he's ready to release Russian prisoners of war and to declare an immediate truce at sea "if Russia is willing to do the same".

He also said Kyiv was ready to sign a key minerals deal with Washington, and US vice president JD Vance also seems optimistic this deal will be signed.
