US cuts off intelligence sharing with Ukraine as Trump responds to Zelenskyy's olive branch

President Trump’s administration confirmed that it had suspended intelligence sharing with Kyiv, having already done the same thing for military aid.

But Volodymyr Zelenskyy olive branch to Mr Trump seems to be going down well, saying he "appreciates" the Ukrainian president's message to work with him on a peace deal.

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron made a plea to the United States to help preserve European security but says Europe "have to be ready" to do it with them if necessary.
