In Florence, the newly opened Neuroaesthetics Laboratory at Museo Galileo represents a pioneering achievement as Italy’s first scientific lab located inside a museum. This initiative is a collaboration between the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy (LENS) and researchers from the University of Florence’s Department of Physics. The lab aims to explore how humans perceive and engage with art and aesthetics using neuroscientific approaches. Our correspondent in Italy, Natalia Mendoza, shares more details.
