Emmanuel Macron: 'We have to be ready for US to not be by our side'

Speaking on French TV, Emmanuel Macron says that the "future of Europe cannot be decided in Moscow or Washington" and that "we have to be ready for the US to not be by our side".

Macron also says France has a "special status", with nuclear weapons to call on if necessary and "the most efficient, effective army in Europe."
