The Trump administration recently opened their new migrant detention center dubbed ‘Alligator Alcatraz,’ located in the Florida everglades. The facility is surrounded by what state officials have called ‘alligator cops’ serving as a natural barrier that will deter any type of escape. Days before the opening of the detention center, the DHS posted a controversial AI-photo of alligators wearing ICE hats that left many confused and outraged.
