30 years after Europe’s only post-WWII genocide at Srebrenica | DW News

In 1995, Bosnian Serb forces killed more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys in and around Srebrenica. The International Tribunal on the Former Yugoslavia and the International Court of Justice subsequently ruled the massacre was a genocide. Many victims are still missing and remains continue to be identified and returned to families.
