Donald Trump is visiting flood-ravaged central Texas, where 120 people were killed last weekend and another 161 are still missing.

The US president and First Lady Melania Trump are expected to meet with first responders and families in Kerrville.

Their visit comes as questions mount over the response from authorities, and what warnings residents received.

The White House rejected suggestions that budget cuts at the National Weather Service (NWS) could have inhibited the disaster response.
