Air India crash: Report reveals cockpit switches were turned off

A preliminary investigation into last month’s Air India crash, which killed 260 people, has revealed that the fuel cut-off switches in the cockpit were flipped to the ‘off’ position shortly before the plane went down. The Boeing 787 crashed into a building after losing power mid-flight. Investigators are focusing on why these switches were activated and if it was accidental or a technical fault.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports.
