The Kremlin has said that Ukraine has been given a signal to continue the war with Russia.

It comes after US President Donald Trump announced plans to send weapons to the country.

He also warned of severe tariffs on Russia if there was no ceasefire deal in 50 days.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitrij Peskov described the announcement as “very serious”.
