Why has there been a surge in water pollution?
The environment secretary has described a 60% rise in severe water pollution incidents, like sewage spills, last year as totally "disgraceful".
That's after the Environment Agency found "systemic failure and underperformance" by water companies across England.
Thames Water is among three firms responsible for over 80% of 2024's most serious incidents.
