Nations accuse Israel of 'drip feeding' aid to Gaza civilians | BBC News

The UK and 24 other nations have condemned the "horrifying" killing of hundreds of Gazans trying to get food from Israel's aid operations.

"Suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths," a joint statement said, calling for an end to the war in Gaza and release of Israeli hostages.

Israel has rejected it as "disconnected from reality."

Early on Monday, Israeli tanks launched their first ground assault on Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
