Air dropping aid in Gaza dismissed as smokescreen as mass starvation continues
For several weeks, governments and international charities have described the amount of aid being allowed into Gaza as wholly inadequate.
The Israeli authorities say foreign aid can now be airdropped into the strip, but that decision has been dismissed by the United Nations as nothing more than a smokescreen.
The World Food Programme estimates one in three Palestinians in Gaza go days without any food.
And each day there are more reports of civilians being shot as they try to feed their families.
