At least seven killed in crowd crush at Hindu temple in India’s Haridwar

At least seven people have been killed and dozens injured in a crush after a large crowd gathered at a popular Hindu temple in northern India’s Uttarakhand state on Sunday.
Panic reportedly erupted among devotees at the Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar city – accessible only by cable car or foot – following rumours of a snapped high-voltage electric wire.
