Around 100 people on board the derailed train in Southern Germany | DW News

Authorities say at least three people have been killed and around 50 others injured in a train derailment in southwestern Germany.
The incident happened near the town of Riedlingen, in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The passenger train came off the tracks and carriages overturned. The crash followed a storm in the area. Police say around 100 people were on board. Germany's railways have faced widespread criticism in recent years over underinvestment in rail infrastructure.
