UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will press Donald Trump to help end “the unspeakable suffering” in Gaza — and discuss trade — when they meet on July 28 at the US president’s golf resort in Scotland, Downing Street says.

Asked whether he agreed with Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that there is no starvation in Gaza, Trump replied he didn’t know, but added: “From the images I’ve seen, those children look very hungry,” reports our international affairs editor Kethevane Gorjestani.
