Washington DC plane crash public hearing | Day one
A public hearing in to the Washington DC plan crash that killed 67 people has found the military helicopter, which was involved in the crash, was flying higher than it should have been and its altitude readings were inaccurate.
The details came out of the first day of National Transportation Safety Board hearings in Washington.
Investigators are aiming to uncover insights into what caused the crash between the American Airlines plane from Wichita, Kansas, and the Black Hawk helicopter over Ronald Reagan National Airport earlier this year.
