Afghans forced to flee Iran: 'arriving at the border with just the clothes on their back' | DW New

So far this year more than 1.5 million Afghan refugees and migrants have left Iran under duress to return home, according to the UN's International Organization for Migration. Aid groups warn that more than a million others may be forced to go home by the end of the year. Many of the returnees say an already strained atmosphere turned hostile in June after Iran and Israel fought a brief war against each other.
