Opposition grows over full Israeli military offensive in Gaza

As Israel's security cabinet approves an operation to take military control of Gaza City, international opposition is growing against the plan.

The Palestinian ambassador to the UN has called Israel's plan for the Gaza Strip "crazy and irresponsible" while Foreign Secretary David Lammy has also expressed his concerns.
