'Horror scenario': US slaps Switzerland with tariffs | DW News

The United States has imposed a 39 percent tariff on Swiss exports — more than double the EU rate and nearly four times that of the UK. Switzerland’s tech sector warns the move could threaten jobs, with luxury watches, industrial machinery, cheese, and chocolate among the affected goods. The US accounts for almost 20 percent of Swiss exports.
