Alaska summit: 'The visuals around this meeting are pretty disconcerting to Ukrainians'

US President Donald Trump offered a warm welcome to Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Friday (August 15) as they met at length in a high-stakes summit in Alaska. Before the press conference, FRANCE 24's Jean-Emile Jammine spoke to Peter Zalmayev, director of the Eurasian Democracy Initiative. "The theatrics and the visuals around this meeting are pretty disconcerting to Ukrainians", he said.
