G'aim'e Brings Lightgun Games into 2025

For everyone wanting that classic arcade shooter experience at home, we gotchu.

G'aim'e, developed by Japanese manufacturer Tassei Denki, started as a Kickstarter to bring back classic Lightgun controllers, like the ones you used to use in Duck Hunt and Time Crisis.

This new game accessory is plug-and-play and uses AI with a high-resolution camera in the barrel for precise movements and technical accuracy. G'aim'e claims their gun controller automatically detects and adjusts to nearly any monitor or projected display from 15” to over 150”.

Along with the hardware, they've created custom licensed versions of classic Lightgun games, including Time Crisis, Steel Gunner 1 & 2, and Point Blank.

The first units for Kickstarter backers are coming later this year, with more details for wider distribution TBD.

If you want to try it out for yourself, look out for them out at PAX West 2025 and other retro gaming conventions. #lightgun #timecrisis #arcade #nostalgia
