US welcomes E3 move on Iran sanctions snapback
There has also been a response from the US Secretary of State to the E3 bloc’s announcement on the reimposition of sanctions on Iran. In a statement, Marco Rubio said the United States welcomes the initiation of the Iran sanctions “snapback” process. He added that the E3 have presented a clear case highlighting Iran’s continued significant non-compliance with its nuclear commitments, and that Washington will work with the E3 and other members of the UN Security Council to see the snapback completed.
