UK pledges $18m to vaccine research in Senegal after US funding cuts

The UK is pledging 18 million dollars to disease and vaccine research in Senegal, after severe funding cuts by the United States.
The money will support the study of genetic material – to strengthen disease monitoring and vaccine production across West Africa.
