How basketball is giving South Sudan hope for the future

Basketball is one of the country’s most celebrated exports, and its stars represent South Sudan on the international stage.

Sky's Yousra Elbagir visits a few of the basketball camps run by the Luo Deng Foundation in Juba that are nurturing promising young talent in South Sudan.

While the stars that play in the NBA aren't drafted directly from these camps, they are a route for young people to be drafted.
