World leaders condemn Israel’s attack on Qatar, warn of regional escalation

International condemnation of Israel's attack has been mounting all day. French President Emmanuel Macron said Israeli strikes in Qatar are unacceptable, and war must under no circumstances spread in the region. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, "I condemn Israel's strikes on Doha, which violate Qatar's sovereignty and risk further escalation across the region." The German Foreign Ministry said the attack was unacceptable, violating Qatar’s sovereignty and threatening efforts to free hostages. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the attack was a clear violation of international law, adding that Turkiye stands with its Palestinian brothers and its ally Qatar with all its means.
