Controversy over Mandelson appointment grows

Anger is growing among some Labour backbenchers over Sir Keir Starmer's decision to give Peter Mandelson his job.

There have been accusations from opponents that the Prime Minister knew the true extent of Mandelson's association with the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein before being forced to sack him.
