Philippines’ Marcos Jr launches probe into flood control corruption as protests grow

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Junior has launched an independent investigation into alleged corruption in the development of flood-control infrastructure that's sparked major protests.
He’s named a former justice as head of the commission and vowed not to meddle, even if political allies turn out to be involved.
