This session begins by thinking of the stakeholders for education technology: teachers, administrators, parents, developers, etc. Historical examples of education technology, such as projectors/TVs in classrooms, school-wide broadcasting systems, and textbooks. A key insight is the "third-party payer problem" in education technology, where the primary users (students and teachers) often don't make purchasing decisions.
