Albania unveils AI-generated 'minister'

Albania revealed its new "AI minister" in a video shown to lawmakers in parliament.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is about to begin his fourth term, appointed the AI-generated bot named Diella to manage and award all public tenders in which the government contracts private companies for various projects — a move to address corruption concerns.
